Designs not saving properly

Hi, PLEASE HELP!! I'm trying to save a design from ofm to dst and, all of a sudden, it won't save like it has in the past. Not only is it upping stitch count drastically, it is not saving auto borders correctly *see attached photo
I've had issues with Designshop V10 ever since Melco rep installed it on my computer as an upgrade...has never worked like V9 but now is just CRAZY.
top photo is my ofm design...bottom photo is original design saved as expanded dst
This have never happened before. I've not changed anything.
