When my computer board went out in my Amaya XT I was forced to also upgrade my software. Now I cannot size up any designs! Before I could size up anything or downsize over 100% and not have any issues whatsoever! Now I cant! So, what do you suppose happened? Did they give me an upgrade that was actually a downgrade? I had Proplus before. Pisses me off soooooo bad! I am going to call them in the a.m., but wondering if they refuse to help me, what kind of sizing programs are out there? anyone have any suggestions?????

Melco Sizer should do it. Try starting DS without the dongle plugged in. The sizer should load.

I tried to start DS without the dongle. box came up and said it couldn't find ...... then it went away. So I plugged back in the dongle and started it up. tried to size a design. nope still nothing. How would I know if the Melco Sizer was installed?Melinda Holm<br />Embroidered CreationsComment

What software were You "Forced to Upgrade"?

If you have design shop
You should be able to open a design and select it and then right click and choose scale or properties and the scale and tell it the size you want it to be (within reason)

I had to upgrade both the design shop pro+ software and the machine software. I have up scaled and down scaled 100% for the last 5 years with no problems. just now I cannot.Melinda Holm<br />Embroidered CreationsComment

Scaling (sizing) Works Fine
What level did you have before?
what files are you working with?
There is no reason you should not be able to scale a design.Comment
