Defaults not working

I'm in DesignShop Pro+, v 7. This week it has stopped going back to defaults. When I start a new design, the specs that were used on the previous design automatically come up for this new design, rather than going back to the defaults. Any suggestions? I'm grateful for help!

I'm assuming you already tried opening DS and going into the properties tab and selected "restore default settings". If you had saved some settings as "default" that is what will come up for the future until you restore the default settings.

Thanks, guys. Things just kept getting worse; so I have uninstalled and reinstalled DS.
