Design Shop formats & hoop sizes

Does anyone know if Melco has any fixes coming so that version 9 can save larger designs for formats like jef, pcs and a few others? Last year I asked a tech support person and he didn't even know Janome had hoops larger than 5 x 7 and knew of no plans for any fixes.

I don't use Design Shop, but I have been using Amaya OS v.9 to stitch large 14 x 14 inch designs with a stitch count of up to 195,000 stitches using the 20.7 x 16.8 hoop. If you don't need to alter the file in DS, just send it to AOS and stitch it out there.
