making lettering thicker or bolder

Hi everyone! Either I'm just brain dead or ??? Where do I go to make my lettering bolder or thicker? I knew where to do this in my old version of DS Pro Plus, but I'm a bit lost in the version 9. Thanks! Edna

you can add width with the Pull compensation
or in the same area you can set the Min & Max Column width.

I would encourage you to use the Pull offset using added points.
Rather then the Pull Comp % setting.

Using the % will add .5 of a point to a 1 point width a total of 1.5 points.
But if your font goes from 1pt width to 20pts as in some script fonts your 20pt areas end up at 30pts using the % setting.

When you just really want it a bit wider all over and that can be achieved with adding 1, 2, 3 or 4 points to each side of every column. you will have a better looking result with Pull offset more often.
