  • OS 10 update question

Ever since I updated OS 10, a lot of my designs have been hijacked with the Amaya OS logo. when I want to click on the logos.... the OS software tries to open.. but of course they're not the correct format.

Does anyone know how I can fix this??

If I understand correctly you are trying to open a file and have it open in Design Shop? If so then click on Start then open Control Panel open Programs and then select Make a file type always open in a specific program. There you will have to select the file extensions of the files you are trying to open and change the program to Design Shop. I hope this is want you were wanting. Mike

I have a slightly different question. Regarding DesignShop files. I have the latest version of DS and Windows 7 (and AOS 10). When you go to "Open a File" in DS and you have the "View Menu" on top set to Medium or Large Icons, how come some of the .ofm files listed in that folder show an actual "preview" of the file, but the rest of the files show what looks like a "blank white page"? I have the Default in Windows to use DS when opening .ofm files. And there's no rhyme or reason why some of them show previews and some don't -- it's not date related or anything else that I can see. Is there some other setting in Windows 7 so that the DS preview of the file shows as the icon when looking at a list of .ofm files? I can see a Preview of the file in the DS Preview box on the right side when I put my cursor on it, but it is driving me crazy trying to figure out why some show a preview as an icon and others show a "blank white page looking icon"! Can anyone help?
