DESIGN IMPORTING?

hi i have design shopv9 and when i try to load a vector file it says invalid file type... but i seen videos on youtube that they load vector graphics and they have design shop lite..

or is this an adobe illustrator thing? because the videos i have seen the person is using corel x5.

Try saving the Illustrator file as version 8 eps.

still doesnt work...is there any advantages to doing artwork in illustrator then digitizing in ds?or is it better to just import jpg and digitize in ds?

Vector graphics can only be used in Pro Plus version of DS.

That is the main reason I upgraded years ago.

thanks Jerome. is there a bi advantage being able to do vector in illustrator than importing to ds? the videos ive been watching on youtube the person is using ds lite and importing from corel.

when I owned DS pro I was not able to use Vectors I had to upgrade to + Now they work.

Do you have a link to these Vids On Youtube, would not mind checking them out..
