HELP - Amaya Machine not responding

Here's the scenario:
Open Amaya OS
Turn on machine, says loading RSA & CSA files, then get 3 -4 beeps from machine. Title bar says Amaya not responding.

Decide should go through configuration set up (machine config wizard), get to step where it says hold target button until computer recognizes Amaya - NOTHING happens.

No one has touched the machine since the last sewing. Unplugged and replugged the yellow cable connecting computer to Amaya, still no go.

Oh, I'm still running Amaya OS 7.00.045. I always have Force Download on.

And of course, I have an urgent job.....

Terri,

What you are describing is what happens when the E-stop button is in the depressed position when the machine is first turned on. Check to see if the big red E-stop button has been depressed. If it is, the machine will give you a series of warning beeps when turned on..hopefully this is what your problem is...

Thank you Rod. All the years I've had this machine that has not happened.... Read about it happening to others but it did not register when it happened to me.
