auto borders on letters

We experience the same color changing problem. We can always change it back to the color we need. However, what we really don't like is how it stitched the corners. The long stitch lengths look bad and really detract from the lettering. We don't use this feature for the poor quality stitches it produces.

Bruce,
Have you gone into the corners tab of the auto borders tab of the Object Parameters? It lets you change the settings for the type of corner you want stitched. This is also where you would change the column width, density, underlay etc.

No I haven't pocked around in there. I'll have to take a look to see what damage I can do.
