magic hoop setup

I just received the 5.5in magic hoop. In the AOS v9 hoop manager can I use the predefined square tubular plastic 5.5in hoop or should I make a new one? I never had to put in a new hoop so I'm not quite sure what measurements I would need to put in. Would I use 5.5 as the x and y with a thickness of 0 or would I measure from the outside to the outside then put in the thickness. I tried adding it both ways and it gives a different size field each way.

Sorry. I meant the Mighty Hoop. It works like magic.

You can say that again! I love them! I am waiting for a 30mm X 16mm, good to hoop in both directions. That would be super.

I just use the round hoops and turn off the hoop detection. Beginners probably shouldn't do that, but I do. You would think that with the laser that it would be super easy to define a hoop. Am I the only one who thinks of these things?

I am planning to purchase the Mighty Hoop 11"x13". How do you set up the hoop in the Hoop Manager of DesignShop and the Amaya OS?
