  • basic software to view designs

Until I bought a new computer with Windows 7- 64 bit I was able to use my Viking software to view my VP3 and DST designs, but it will not work with my new computer. Does anyone know of a software program that is rather inexpensive, basic and does minor editing, viewing and converting? I must get off the computer now, as we are getting ready for a 3rd night of BAD storms with tornado and flood warnings here in central Indiana Thanks! Debbie

Have you gone to Viking and seen if they now have an update for that program, I am facing this problem myself soon, need new laptop. But one lucky thing is I have Embird that does recognize both of those formats and changes other design formats to those.

There is a basic level of Designshop. Melco used to have a chart on their website as for what version of DS had which features but it seems they took it off the website or it made it difficult to find that chart.
