Alphabets

I am new to this and have a general question about lettering. If I am using one of the alphabets that came with my Design Shop Pro+ Version 9, can I assume the tie downs for each letter are automatic? I was using the Micro Block Lg alphabet and it seems to me that not all the letters are tied down.

No, I believe it is the DAK fonts that do not have tie-ins and tie-offs. It is always better to check. At one time Melco had discussed removing all tie-ins and tie-offs so we could use which ever one we wanted, but I don't think they ever did remove all of them.
