  • Design Shop Update, gone bad

    Hope someone can help me here
    I just went and updated my DS Pro+
    through the software.
    on my laptop everything seemed to go fine.
    So I moved the dongel to my desk top and upgraded that copy.

    after that I tried to open the program and I ge an error mesage that the program cloed unexpectedly. ang it shuts down. It never gets past the Splash screen.

    I checked and yes the same thing is happening on my laptop. Crap!

    I tried to un install the program and reinstall it but no good.

    Any thoughts ?

    BTW
    Both computers are running Vista 32bit
    and both worked perfectly for months with DS Pro+

      What site are you going to for your update? It might be the site. I had problems before and had to call to get a different url.

        I seem to recall at some point, a dongle driver update came into play - and I had a problem like this. I could be wrong but a call to melco would definately be in order. If it's an updated dongle driver, it's a simple fix.

          That is what I was thinking.

          Also I have no Idea where the software go to get the Update information it is done inside the program and you have no choice but let it do its thing.

          It is all automatic..

          I guess I will call melco tomorrow.
