  • Classic Monogram - Updated Zundt Classic Monogram

Melco has updated the Zundt Class Monogram font and it looks great!!! now. I just spent a long time last week reworking the 'W' for someone and now Melco has fixed the entire font group for us. Excellent job!!!

Where the heck is the Zundt Class Monogram located. I know most of the monograms do not say monograms but I have not seen that one. I have Pro+ but I do not see that one. Is that one you must purchase seperate?

It was a premium font a couple of years ago but I don't know about that now. My purchased alphabet was called Zundt Classic Monogram I think. When I updated my DS9 this morning to 9.00.99 I had an alphabet called 'classic monogram mg' that is the exact same alphabet as the Zundt Classic Monogram. I now have to move the arrow up to see the alphabet instead of down. For some reason DS9 does not default to the very first alphabet on the list so just go up to see the others.

I don't really know if it is still a premium alphabet or if the fact that I purchased it 2 years ago the update just replaced mine automatically. I checked and I no longer have the Zundt Classic Monogram listed, just the Classic Monogram MG. It may now be part of the DS9 Pro +.

Just to let everyone know I was talking with Melco tech support today.
I asked how we are going to be able to buy new alphabets.
Well the responce was you can NOT.
all the premimum alphabets that could be are now inculded in V9 and they are no longer selling any other ones.

          I was quite suprised.

Me too, because I have v9.000.099 and don't have all those cool fonts. So what gives?

Juli is going to eat crow! I, indeed, have every single font in the pdf list! Some of them are in the OA list and most in the EA list. I looks several times for the Zundt monograms and couldn't for the life of me find them. But now I have found them and an a very happy camper.

You see, I can eat crow. Doesn't taste too bad.

well, well, well...I'm going to have to look when we fire up the XT! I hope they did come with the 'upgrade' we got with the trade-in, we also had wanted to start buying some of the premiums. This will save a lot of work if they are in there...I've been doing some of the smaller letters and larger fancy ones in MAC and then sending them over and digitizing as art just for a couple logo jobs.
                Hope they are there!
Nice christmas present from Melco if it's true!
And, if anyone has extra 5" (approx) round hoops I'm looking for a couple-so I can hoop a half dozen shirts ahead of my wife sewing them and not have to stand around waiting.
                Thanks

                  Roland,

Thanks for letting us know about the new premium alphabets being there in V9. I had not noticed any others yet.

                  Everyone,

I was mistaken about the previous name of the Zundt alphabet. It was a premium alphabet that cost $99 and is called 'Classic Zundt' and is still there to use in my software. We just now have a 'Classic Monogram' which looks like a super redigitized version of Classic Zundt. You do have to scroll up to see many of the new alphabets. The quality of the Melco classic monogram far exceeds the classic Zundt. This new feature of alphabet's included makes the V9 update an even better value.
