Yes I know, but then you lose the appliqué fill. So if you want to keep the fill for visual reasons, and be able to re-sequence, then would you have to have two files?Comment

I have found using adobe illustrators offset path command is probably the easiest way to create the stitch lines i need and then use convert vector lines to walk stitch.
Agree with kerrminator the applique function would be better if it allowed the resequencing of multiple shapes..Comment
