EMB file extension

Hi everyone,

I received a disk from a client with designs that has an .EMB file extension on it. I am not able to open it using the Amaya software. Does anyone know what this extension is? Is it an embroidery file? Any ideas on how to open it and then saved so that we can work with it. I can't open it at all. I would really appreciate any insight you may have.

That is a wilcom file format. If you want to sen it to me I can convert it to a dst or exp, I can help.

It is a Wilcom embroidery file - not a machine one. I would be happy to save it for you as an exp or cnd or dst for you. If you have Wilcom's true sizer you can open it and save it an exp. The only problem is that it is save as an expanded file which is difficult to work with.

I know you have resolved your current issue, but Wilcom has a free software product called TrueSizer that will open .EMB files so that you can save them into another format. You do have to register at this site, but don't let that stop you from having a copy of this great software.
