  • Sample Embroidery Font Book

Does anyone know if there is a Sample Embroidery Font Book? If not what is the best way to make one?

I printed mine out LONG ago on version 7, so not sure if it's the same. You open the font, click the button for code sheet, and print. Once you open the first code sheet the rest should be open as well; just print 'em all.

You can find the PDF here C:\Program Files\Melco\Design Shop 2008\alphabets.pdf
(The last folder may just say 'Design Shop' depending on what version you have)
Office Depot/Staples/OfficeMax sells 3 hole punchs and notebooks to show your customers.

If you want to have samples of True Type fonts from your computer in addition to those in DS go to:

        c:/windows/fonts/

Double click on any font in that folder that you want to use and it will open so you can use the print option on the top right of the screen to print out a sample page of all characters included in the font.

We "printed" some pages on a stiff felt using our XT using some of our more popular fonts. That way a customer can kind of get an idea about how certain letters are going to look without sewing out a sample.
