V9 Autofeed Upper Limit Adjust Enable

Could anyone explain what this does and how you would use it? Thanks in advance.

I have seen that and I can't think of why it's there either.

How about the Chenille look? You could set an upper limit and not have to use the Standard or in the case of heavy seams where Auto Activ-feed may be throwing just a bit too much thread...you could set the upper limit to never exceed a certain amount...these are just a couple that quickly ran thru my mind...I am sure that there are many others....
