I used the 2-inch tackle twill font that comes with the Design Shop. There wasn't any outline walkstitch on the letters, but it clearly states that there is in the PDF book. Anyone else experience this with this font, or any of the other applique fonts? The font, as is, is not usuable for applique because there is no way to know where the exact location is for the placement of the letter/fabric.

When I use that font with pre-cut letters I just put a underlay outline stitch at 90% and then convert to wireframe and move the outline stitches together at the top so they stitch first.
