  • V9: Color Change in Text

I cannot figure out how to make color changes within a single word of text in the new software (H=pink, E=blue, A=yellow, T=orange, H=purple, E=red, R= teal). It was so easy in V7, as there was a color change button, but I find anything like that in V9. I can make seven separate text items for now, but if someone knows of a better/easier way to do this, please share.

    Thanks!

Wireframe the word and then group together each letter, then change the color on each letter.

Type your lettering, hit enter. A large X comes up over each letter. Left click on the letter you want to change. A selection box shows up and then right click. The menu that oomes up has properties, color, etc listed. Go to color and change to the color you want.
It took me awhile to figure this out but I did using the help manuel in the software and found it. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Margaret...I didn't know how to do that-I've been doing the 'one letter at a time' method....learn something new every day!

Well, that was certainly better than what I was doing! Don't you just love this list?

Hey guys, All you have to do is double click on the text, click on the x in the letter like Margaret said and then click a color on the color pallet. Done.
