  • A color question V9 OS

I remember in training that we could color the seq. You know, when you go to put in your needle seq, the little circles representing each spool is just white. How can I put in a color to represent the spool that is there and have that needle automatically selected when the design call for that color (or close to it)? Where do I look that up? Is it available in V9 OS?

    Dear Juli,
If I undserstand your question, you will need to go to OS and tools, settings, setting tab, click auto define color sequence and select closest matched color. close. Go to Color sequence tab and the colors in the window should now be a color that you will need to reset. I think this is what you want to know. One note, I have not had any luck sending a design from design shop and having OS pick up all the colors even though all the numbers match. I am waiting to have the first update to see if this goes away since I know that there are some issues that they are working on. Just be sure to check the colors before stitching on the customer's garment.

      Thanks Margaret,
That was exactly it! and it worked. The reason I was asking is that I am having a new owner of an XT come over to my house for a little instruction tomorrow. She is mostly doing sports stuff for the schools in her area and thought this feature would be perfect for her. Just couldn't figure it out! But now I am good to go.

      Thanks again,
