Did they do away with the color wrap in v9 or am I just not seeing it? In v7 there was an option to have it wrap to the next color but I'm not finding it in 9. When I pull the color properties up it just the color tab with no options to have it just wrap to the next color and a right click doesn't seem to be it either. Cheryl K

Cheryl,
Yeah, I believe that feature is not available. The entire way color change assignment is implemented in DS v9 is different than in v7.
In ver.9, you don't insert color change commands between elements/objects. You assign a unique color to each or multiple elements/objects. The software will know where the color change commands are placed.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the "color wrap" feature. I'm still learning all the little details about ver.9 myself.

Cheryl,
Just curious, Before I have to get going, what is it that you are trying to accomplish?
Color wrapping in ver.7 was only there to display the same colors again and again. Since most designs only have a handful of color changes in them, I personally never found the color wrap feature to be of use. But that's just me.
Could it be you're talking about the "Automatically increment color change index after APPLY" feature?? What this would do is after assigning a color to the first element and clicking "apply", the next color in the design would show itself waiting for a color assignment automatically. This would help speed things up when assigning colors.

I was mostly thinking of a stock design from embroidery library that has a total of 96 color changes - only 20 some colors used that is in dst format. It was handy with a design like that, when applying the correct colors to not have to go up and click the next number up. Of course I didn't save it in a format with the correct colors applied! So was thinking that I would just bring it up and see how that was going to work. Might be even easier. Sure hope so.

Cheryl,
I've consulted with some very important people and it looks like it's not there in ver9. Although it is a feature that may return in later versions.
We'll keep an eye out for it.
At least updating the new Design Shop will be easy if you have your PC connected to the Internet.
