Fonts in V9

I'm having issues with fonts showing up in design shop. A few time today I opened the program, and when trying to add text there were no font available. The only way to get them back was to reboot the computer. The program was installed in the default directory. I have a brand new system V9(not upgraded). Any one out there have a clue on what I need to do?

Interesting issue - have you tried to contact Melco on this? I havn't heard any issues on this yet. Which fonts are dissapearing... True Type I assume?

Just got off the phone with TS. I'm trying a re-instal. There were no fonts at all(digitized)on the toolbar or in the properties menu. Very weird. Sometimes they showed up... sometime they didn't. hopefully the re-instal will do it.

Update and solution......We un-installed then re -installed DS. It still wasn't working. I also goobered up the OS, so I ended up re-installing that also. Then it hit me.... when you install the OS, it puts a version of DS (Melco Sizer) into the Amaya folder. The problem was that the shortcut to design shop was going to the one in the OS folder. Since there is no Font folder in the same directory... The program was looking for the alphabets, but didn't see them and thus was giving me the error. This explains why it worked sometimes and not others. Simply pointing the shortcut to the right program in the Melco folder would have done the trick.
