Jerome,
Sorry if I offended. I'm just a kidder who found silly jokes about all ouf our previous presidents funny too.
But you're right. This isn't the forum for silly commentary among friends. I'll tone it down a bit and keep comments about our public figures to myself.
Have a good weekend.

Ed, you shouldn't have to apologize, you didn't say anything that bad, everyone needs a little humor once and a while. There are too many people in this world that take everything too serious and need to lighten up and smile.

I agree. I can always count on a few good laughs a day here with Ed, Roland and a few others. It gets me through the day to say the least.
Ed - Did you ever get any sleep last night? you were on a roll.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I also agree. Freedom of speech is in our constitution. There is nothing offensive with Ed's comment.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Let me throw in my 5 cents worth. Freedom of speech is everyone's right. Ed expressed the sentiment of many people.

Ed,

I don't think you had anything to apologize about either. This country is in a terrible mess and I am not sure anyone (even if we had someone with management experience) can fix it. I don't even watch the news much anymore. Soooo, I am digitizing and embroidering all the time.

Laughter is the best medicine!!

That avatar is great. I always enjoy seeing it myself. The glasses make him look like the grand master of DS/OS, etc.

I have to put my 2 cents worth in too...this country has forgotten why this country was formed and the reason...too many people are looking for anything no matter how small to be offened by...laughter and humor is very good for everyone and I know sometimes people will use this in ways that are not acceptable but hey this was not one of them...I agree with Ed...so don't be sorry Ed it was cute and made me smile...I haven't read all the replies but I will go and read them and I am sure some other agree with my view...keep up the good work you do for us Ed and we will continue to smile at your funnies...Jenny

Okay Guys,
I hear you loud and clear. I, too, agree laughter is the best medicine. My proctologist, not so much
If only we could laugh away all of our thread breaks. Now there's a thought.
Knowledge is power and we, here on the list, are committed to that philosophy for the more we learn, the fewer the thread breaks.
(Like Sharon doesn't get any thread breaks - PLEASE!!)
I'm going to do as Momma said and "consider the crowd" with respect to religion and politics.
We're all friends here!!
I'm officially ending this post with...
Who wants to go to THE MARDI GRAS !?!?

Thank you so much for the link. Great music. I have been digitizing Mardi Gras designs and that made my day.

My dearest Eddie--it's such a good thing we are good friends off this list--I REALLY do have very, very few thread breaks! I will give the credit to my digitizer. (If he reads this, I might get dinner out of it!!!)

Our grandkids and daughter-in-law are down in your state this week visiting her grandparents--not far from you!
