Help!.. I've upgraded my computer to a new 22" Dell monitor.. and now I have a problem. When I go into a design in DS, and want to choose colors.. I open the Color Properties window.. and it does NOT show the scroll of colors on the far side.. or the FIND NUMBER box on the bottom!!! Where did they go? How do I fix this? Anyone?

It won't let me resize the box at all.. there is no color palette or scroll bar on the far right.
I have the SaveAsDefault button... but no Find Number box... It is almost like the sample color blocks are enlarged, and overtaking that side of the screen. Suggestions?

I just moved a flat screen monitor from my MiniMac over to a 15 year old mac in the shop...the original Apple monitor was really acting strange-'desktop' was rolling over on itself, tops of windows upside down, etc. When I fired up the old mac it read the new monitor, but the icons and page sizes were way off. Found the control panel for the monitor and clicked on a different 'setting' and bingo...everything back to normal. It might just be you have to do the same-set the 'monitor' or 'display' resolution to a different setting.

I know I talked to Melco about resolution with my 19" screen... and I had to set it at 1024x768. But my DS hoop circles were not perfect circles. I was told then that I needed to get a 21" or bigger monitor to get the true size. So 6mth later.. I get a 22".. and this new Dell says for optimum results set your monitor at 1680x1050. My hoop circles looks perfect now in DS. (not oblong)... But now I have this problem.. and we all really sorta NEED this window to have all the information.. I tried some different resolutions.. but it didn't change it. HELP!

I don't know PC's...I'm a mac man...but is there a 'preferences' menu in DS where you can set 'tool bar' size or something? OR in your windows...I know in Mac OS I can adjust the size of icons and/or 'desktop' toolbars, locations, etc.
I just looked through my DS and didn't see anything 'in' the program for changing size of toolbar and stuff there.
There is a way to 'reboot' the DS program without losing settings, files, etc.-it's mentioned in the chat if you do a 'search'...might be worth trying that. I know when we get problems with a file acting funky or DS acting up-there is a 'folder' with recent 'memory' or something in it you delete and then restart. Kind of like emptying a full bag in a vacuum...doesn't hurt anything but it cleans up the program.
Good luck...

No I don't run it off a Mac...I have a full line graphic shop-banners, signs, screenprinting, engraving, etc. so all my work is done on a mac but I can transfer logos and designs into DS to save a ton of time compared to creating in DS!
Taboo...definitely! There was one person in Canada that successfully ran DS or AMaya OS on a mac using some sort of emulating program-couple years ago. He's never been heard from since. Probably locked up in a windowless and internetless cellar hole somewhere.
But boy, it would be NICE to be able to do it!
Not sure if it can be done with a 'dual platform' Mac but maybe someone knows.
I know FlexiSign PRo (program for creating signage working with bitmap and vector line art simultaneously) is cross-Platform...I have the newest MAC version and it's great-and it will also run the digital printers & cutters, IF your machines will hook up to a mac...but I prefer to run my Versacam off a PC because the 'proprietary' program for the printer is faster and easier to use than the flexi Production manager part...and Versaworks is strictly PC.
Like Amaya OS. You can run Design shop or other digitizing programs but the amayas run only off AMaya OS.
