Bean Stitch

The question is about the bean stitch and Design Shop Pro.

When I create a bean stitch element on the screen, it only displays it as a thin line no matter how thick I set it in properties. Is this normal?

Yes, it is. No matter how thick, it is, theoretically one stitch on top of another and therefore the graphic of it is just a thin line. But it does get thicker in reality.
