.omf version

Question - I have DS 7.something...when opening an .omf of a different version (i.e. ver 6), is there a conversion that has to be performed or does simply selecting "file/open" do what's needed (if anything)?

I've assumed the latter...but you know what "assuming" can get ya.

If you have version 7, you should be able to open anything saved under your version or older. You will have issues attemting to open any file that is newer than your version (saved as version 8 or 9)
