I have DS Pro + I' m trying to do an applique where it stiches an out line then stops so I can put in cloth then stiches that down stop so I can cut the excess cloth then a cover stich.

II have tried the applique command and it doesn't stop . I also thought I could just digitize and put in stops but I can't find a stop comand. Is there one or how do you handle it
    TIA

    Kathy,
Program a color change after the outline stitch in DS. Then in the O/S, click on the applique icon between the outline color and the tackdown color in the color sequence dialog box.
Hope this is what you needed to know.

I just did my first applique yesterday and ran into the same problem. You have to program the stop in amaya os. in the color selection, after you choose the color for your outline stitching press the applique button. This will sew the first outline of the design then stop and push the hoop out toward you.

Hmmm I have the old Melco machines so I can't put it in the OS.
Seems odd that you can't digitize in a stop in DS Pro + or that the stop doesn't happen in applique

If you put a pause (P) at the beginning of your color sequence the machine will stop at each color change. Then hit start to go again.
