Lettering/Monograms

I'm having a problem with a new momogram program that I just purchased on the internet. I was looking for some help when I saw an old response from someone else. Basically they said that the format was not keyboard lettering so that with Design shop each letter is treated like a design and you have to add one letter at a time. I'm trying to figure out how to do that. Everytime I click on the file, it replaces the previous entry. Then I tried to save and reopen, then add and it did the same thing. I'm just trying to do a 3 letter monogram, can anytone tell me how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kim,

After your first letter is on the screen you would click on file and then in the drop down menu you would click on insert. Repeat this for every letter you want to add. If you have any questions about this give me a call and I will try to help.
