Setting Colors

I have a dst design that has only 4 colors, but 22 color changes. How can I conveniently imput the colors, i.e. get all the colors in without inputting each and every one? I tried the Alt drag but it actually moves the color instead of copying the color.

If you hold down Ctrl while selecting each part of the design that is going to be the same color, right click and choose a color for them, they will all change to that color without moving them from their order. Atleast that's how I do it with the software that we have. I'm not sure what it is you're using.
