Tack Down Applique -

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone else have an issue with that the tack down stitch on applique reverting to the size of the outline stitch?? Usually after I save the file and re open the tack down is the same size as the out line. I have tried leaving the design as applique and converting to wire frame.

The tack-down stitches are in the same place when the applique is one that will be trimmed away manually.

When I applique patches, I use a zigzag stitch for the tack-down.

I have had this same problem. I ended up just digitizing the applique myself.

If you go into the properties of the applique, you can change where that walk tackdown goes. I use the walk at a -25 and it just catches it. Like someone else said - you can change the walk tack down to a zigzag....it's there in the properties of the tackdown within the applique.
