I don't see the messages regarding the latest version so I am starting this new one.
You are saying it is Vista compatible and you don't think it has many changes. To make it Vista compatible won't it need significant changes and to be tested on the Vista operating system? What is your opinion of running OS or DS Pro+ on a Vista system at this time with the version 70.00.112?
I ask because I am about to purchase a notebook in addition to my PC and I am limited to the ones Dell still has available with Windows XP.
Please give me your thoughts on this ASAP.

Hi Debbie,

Perhaps a better way to put it, you will not see many major changes. There are not that many new features which would be visible such as new tools or added digitizing features. I suppose if you are referring to the changes done under the covers of the software to make it Vista compatible, of course they are going to be extensive but most of these are going to be invisible to the end user.

As far as running DS or Amaya OS on Vista, it will run as well on Vista as it does on XP. If you are looking to buy an new computer, and you have no other issues with Vista, do not be afraid to do so because of DS or Amaya OS. They will not be a problem to you.
