  • File Conversion Help Needed

Hi, I have a client who sent me a file with a .ve extension, which after looking on the Internet, I learned is a Sign Lab file. Supposedly it's vector format. Does anyone out there use Sign Lab and if so, are you willing to open the file and export it into a format that I can pull up in Corel Draw? Many thanks... Caren-

Don't you love it when customers think they are graphic artists?
Anyways...I believe I can open Sign Lab files with my Flexi Sign program...and then export as an illustrator and maybe a corel file-but if I can get it into iLLustrator I can get you a usable file from that. I have sign cutting/printing equipment so I have more than just the Amaya.
Otherwise, call a couple of the sign shops up there in your area and ask if any of them have SignLab or Flexi-they might help you out.
If not, email me the file and I'll see what I can do!
But if you can get a relationship going with a sign shop, you can use them for networking to get a lot more business!

Check out signs 101 forum lots and lots of info on there. Plus there are people that will change file formats for you.I recently helped out a guy from the Dallas area with a similar file issue just not he one you have.He had a exp. file and could not open it.
