  • Tweeking Standard Fonts

Is there a way to edit a letter in a standard font (ie comic sans) and SAVE the changes so it is that way next time? Some of the letters could be slightly better, and it would be great if there was a way to permanently change the design of them. Hope this question makes sense!

One of the reasons that TTF sometimes don't look good is that the actual graphic is bad. One time when I had access to a program that could make and edit fonts, I was able to go in and make the fonts - well - better. Lots of work. But that is the only way you are going to get a TTF to get better and stay that way. BTW I believe that Corel can make fonts.

During our Melco training, I believe our instructor said that you could save changes to your fonts in "User Font Files". They would show up in the font list designated as a user font rather than a true type or Melco font. We were using DS Pro+. I don't know if this is specific to this version or not.
