Is there a simple way to put a satin stitch around a complex fill?

There is probably another way; yesterday, I duplicated the item, then "Change Element Type" to single line, and clicked "Replace". It did what I needed.

One of the simplest ways is to select the element in the project tree list and then hold down the shift key and left click on one of the singleline icons on the tool bar. Insert a color break in the project tree if the border needs to be another color.....
