Design Shop shutting down

Can someone help me please? I am trying to save a design after I made some changes and when I do the program closes without saving the design. I have shutdown my computer and tried to re-start where I let off and still the same thing happens. I have tried saving under a different file name and nothing I have tried has worked. Thanks for your time.

After you reboot and get back into the program, can you copy what you've done so far and then paste into a new file??
