color change in single letter??????

i want to know how to put at least 1 color change in a letter(??) if i used a block letter how do i change the color half way down or 1/3 way down? in dakota collectibles they have designs for navy-marines and i need that but with different letters. do i need to buy a new library? i have design shop pro-i have looked all over the web but cant find an alphabet-so i am hoping i can do it.thanks in advance for any help!!

If you are trying to make a 1 color stock font 2 colors there is not a easy click and go procedure. It would have to be digitized as 2 color.
