  • Power Cord

I recently moved and mixed all my power cords, I saw that on the back of my XT it says 250V and all the power cables I found say 125V. Does it matter?

    As Johnny Cochran once said,...

"If it doesn't fit, you will have to quit."

The fact that the cord says 250V means that it is rated for 250V. Meaning that you can use it for any voltage under and up to 250V.

If it fits the machine like it fits into the power supply of a computer, then you should be okay. It's a very common Power Cord.

Ed, thanks so much, I swear I was going to put at the end of my post "if no one answers my question tonight I am going to have to call Ed in the middle of the night to ask" and look who answered!
Let me know if you come to San Antonio, it will be nice to see you.
      Thanks.

I try to be available to all of my customers 24/7. As I believe all technicians should be. We are the "emergency room" of the industry.

Besides, 24 days a month and 7 hours a day ain't that bad. Right? (I jest!)

        Seriously, call or write anytime.

"The emergency room of the industry" , now that is something....never thought of it quite like that. EER or ERE ...emer rm embroid....

I just had to take my wife to the ER for a knee problem. Turned out to be what they call a super bursa(bursitis) under the kneecap and it was very painful. It was a result of being down on her knees planting flowers and she bruised a knee....point of the story....we were in the ER, 2 hr and 15 min, they did do an Xray and ace wrap bandage, said stay off of it, etc,......

$936.47 was the result. Compare that to the free consultations Dr Ed gives to this group. Dr ED, maybe we should get together and, and......naw, it probably wouldn't go over very well.......

"If the glove don't fit, you must acquit" I believe is the correct quote. Sorry, had to.
