Thread shredding just above needle

Thank you so much to everyone that warned me not to attempt the "needle bar" change myself. After reading the post I wouldn't try it for any amount less than that of a new machine

Time for the repairman as this has been going on for seven years-Many, many more problems than my other machines.

I should also add that registration problems have all but disappeared as well.
