Installing DesignShop V7 on Virtual XP

I just got a new Win7 computer but have not been successful getting my DesignShop V7 to install in Virtual XP mode. I get through the install until it says to plug in the USB, then it doesn't "see" the USB device to continue the install. Any ideas what I can do??

Upgrade to version 9.

I could not get the Virtual XP to see the dongel either

I was afraid that would be the answer. I just didn't want to be the only one who couldn't get it to run.
