Somewhere someone talked about how to put the machine to sleep, which I didn't know. It's in the book, just didn't read it. I tried it, but when I woke it up, you could sew the design that was on it, but could not load a new design unless you reset the design on it. Is this the way it works? This sleep mode is good,at least you don't have to let them sit there making noise when you are doing something else. Thank you Bill @ Fineline

Yes you are correct that if it is in sleep mode and you want it to wake up then you have to reset the design.Tina K.<br />Embroidery Gals<br /> <a href=\"http://www.embroiderygals.com\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.embroiderygals.com</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://www.bridalgiftspersonalized.com\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.bridalgiftspersonalized.com</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.facebook.com/cruisetoembroiderysuccess\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.facebook.com/cruisetoembroiderysuccess</a>

I only put the machines to sleep in between jobs. I think the CPU is still going. I should say that I USED to put them to sleep, but my tech advised me against it- said the feature needed more testing. Anybody know anything about that?Gregory

I can only say that I have been doing this from the day I got my machine over 3 years ago. In fact my tech was out in September and said good your putting the machine asleep which will save it.

Sorry, I haven't been following this thread until now so will just tell you that if you happen to push in the red button to put the machine to sleep and then let off of it and push it again, it is out of sinc and you will need to push and hold the green button in for 5 seconds then start all over. Push the red button in and keep it in until the machine goes to sleep---usually about 5 seconds. Do the same with the green button to wake it up.
