constant thread breaks!

Ok, so ever since we moved our machine for teh first time (Trade Show a couple weekends ago) My machine has been running sloopy. A lot of thread breaks, false bobbin breaks and the like.
This morning I gave it a complete cleaning and re-lubing. (4,000,000 maitence roughly 100,000 stitches early) I came back from lunch and although she is running smooth and quiet once again, I continue to have thread breaks about evry 75 stitches or so! I checked the bobbin and it was a tiny bit loose so I tweaked it a bit, rechecked my needle placement where I am at, and all teh other little things that I read on here BEFORE posting this!! I have a ton of work to get going on - Im trying to work, it's not my fault this dumb thing is not cooperating!!

OK, now that I vented a little... any suggestions?

last year and and the year before...and probably the year before that...the question was brought up about 'should I bring my Amaya to a tradeshow/open house/horse show/chamber of commerce event...' and the general consensus was...NO...because of the chance of something getting hit, bumped, nudged out of whack or who knows what. As YOU have found out...it happened to you! And now for all the 'good' it might have done for the company to have the pretty machine at the show...they are going to have to pay a tech a good chunk of 'kaching' to get it back working again. Was it worth it? I'll bet by the time the tech gets done finetuning it, it won't be worth it!
Good luck...and next year tell them to buy another machine if they want to haul it around-so YOU can stay home and get some work done!

I actually called tech support and dicussed what I have done and tehy told me what else to try, including:
Pressure foot, bobbin case or Hook timing!

I just hope I can get it going in pressure foot, or ifwe have to order a new bobbin case it comes quickly OR I will be sitting waiting for the tech! :/

When you bought your machine, you should have had at minimum, two bobbin cases. For some, if they purchased the starter kit from Melco Mart, they got three total.
I really doubt your bobbin case is constributing to your thread break issue.
Like Roland said, I would not move such a large machine around. You would want to consider a smaller machine for transport purposes.

What have you found after talking with tech support???
