I have sewed on Taekowndo belts in the past with no problem. Now all of a sudden, I get bird nesting, thread breaks, thread shearing, etc. I have noticed now that the bobbine case makes a jingling noise when running? The part of the machine that holds the case moves ever so slightly, which I am assuming is okay. I took the needle plate off and everything appears okay. It's been cleaned and oiled and nothing looks amiss. Does is sound as if I need to replace the bobbin case?

If your refering to the retaining Finger.
The piece that is infront of the bobbin and is screwed to the side of the cylander arm.
NO it should not move AT ALL.
You may need to re gap this as it will cause thread nests if it is set too close as the thread passes the gap every stitch.
see your manual CD for How to do this .
You will need the gauge for this it came in your operators kit it looks like a little 2" metal flag
the small partursion is the gauge.
Your gap needs to be set to the thickness of this tool (the thin way).
hope this helps
