• 07 XT w/70 hrs - $7,000 - 3 Yrs. Warranty Remaining

I've listed this machine earlier in a different post but wanted to start a new thread because of the updated price and photos.

Photos here:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...e&id=738995346

I spoke with a sales representative from Melco to help with pricing this machine yesterday. He said that with the remaining warranty and very low hours of use, it's worth between $8,000 and $9,000.

We are getting ready to move into a new building and want to sell this within the next 2 weeks so I'm listing it for $7,000 so that we can go ahead and get it sold.

It was purchased new in June of 2007 for $14,450.

As you can see from the photos, the machine is in perfect condition. It has been used very little and always kept in a dry, smoke free environment.

It comes with DesignShop Lite version 7 and the Amaya OS.

The accessories include:

1 Wide Angle Driver
2 Wide Angle Cap Frames
1 Wide Angle Gauge
2 15cm Round Hoops
2 18cm Round Hoops
2 30 x 44 Rectangular Plastic Hoops
Thread, backing, etc as shown in photos.

The Run Times are as follows:

CPU Time: 285:22:49
Z Run Time: 70:30:56
Z Axis Rotations: 2937890

The machine is located at our commercial location in central Virginia. I can be reached at 434-985-7446 or via PM if you have any questions.

Tina,

I'm sure we could find someone to get rid of that pesky sofa!

I took your suggestion. See if this works to get you to the pics:

According to the Melco representative that I spoke with, since it was originally sold before January 2008, you can transfer the warranty. For anything sold after January 2008, you cannot transfer the warranty. Melco *may* charge a fee to do so. If they do, it would be $600. I've been told that they don't always impose this.

You have to be logged into Facebook before clicking the link. I have posted the same picture here for those that do not have Facebook http://i34.tinypic.com/qxrk3q.jpg I believe the fee is for the software transfer only. Last time I checked (5 years ago) there was no fee for transferring a machine. So my disclaimer is call your sales rep for confirmation on this.

Thanks, Steve. There were actually several pictures in that gallery but it sounds like facebook is only allowing you to see the first one.

Following Steve' lead, here are the rest:

Robbie,
check the photo album preferences for your FB account... likely you've got it restricted so non-friends/family can't view your albums.

Just to confirm I contacted melco service ([email protected]) and asked about warranty transfer. Here is a direct quote from them:

"Thank you for the email, I am sorry but the manufactures warranty on the Amaya Product is not transferable. Melco does offer a extended warranty that you can purchase, please call 1-800-877-4272 for information. "

Stacey,

I think that Melco's response is accurate for a machine purchased after January 2008 but not so for this machine. The warranty documentation with this machine states:

HOW TO TRANSFER THE WARRANTY
This limited warranty may be transferred upon written notice to Melco by the original purchaser. Transfer fees may apply.

My position is that there is no doubt as to whether we can transfer the warranty. The question is whether or not they(Melco) would be willing to waive the transfer fee. The representative that I spoke with said that it would cost $600 to transfer it so I consider that a worst case scenario.

I'm happy to facilitate the transfer of the warranty and/or make the sale contingent on the transfer of the warranty.

Thanks,

Robbie

They (Melco) stand corrected. After another exchange with them they did verify details wrt dates and warranty. (thought I'd elaborate a bit since my short n sweet wasn't much helpful!)
