Is the technical manual CD included with the XT machine/software or does this have to be purchased separately?

The Parts & Tech CD has been supplied with all new machine purchases in the past and to my knowledge this has not changed.

When I got my machine I got the Amaya OS and Designshop v9 software. Is the Parts & Tech CD within this cd I rec'd? Or am I missing something?

That cardboard box is called the "Operators Kit".
It is there you should find your Parts and Tech CD.
