    2 Help questions?
    1. is there a tech on the west coast of Florida??
    2.my machine dropped the needle with a loun ca-othump after starting to stitch the second color. I got it back up but it did the same thing again. I called Denver twice , changed a lot of things with them but it is still happening only now the design dissapears off the screen in Amaya OS and says master machine detached from system?? I oiled and greaesd but its just not working???

      Carole,

      This has all the earmarks of a bad Z Axis motor. Does it matter if you are sewing flats or caps? I have personally worked on some machines that would sew all day long on flats but the minute you try to sew a cap...bingo, just what you described....bad Z axis motor.

      This can also be caused at times from too low a setting on the presser foot and material thickness being thick or heavy. It can allso be a result of the needle striking something very solid.....turn the Z axis shaft over by hand with the machine off and make sure that nothing is binding or striking.....
