Black boarder of design not following the main part

We ran this design that had a gold halo with a black boarder around it and the boarder did not follow the gold. Ran the same design on 3 other machines and it was ok. Had a Tech look at it and he could not find anything wrong. He said it might need a new motor? This does not sound right. Any IDEAS. Need to get it running. These are Amaya XTs 2006 Thanks, Bill

Tension could affect this. Check the bobbin.

We found out what it was, it was a bent needle. Dont know how it could be bent and not hit the needle plate. The border was 1/16" off. After we changed the needle it was ok. Never had any thread breaks on the bent needle while sewing the whole design?????
