I get a weird grinding noise at the beginning and the end of every design I stitch on my XTS. I've done all the maintenance and then some... I also get ALOT of Z-axis tracking errors. Any suggestions.... I'm going to try to attach a video of the noise.https://youtu.be/gJk_lCMUln4

Without watching the video, the z motor could be going. Not super hard to replace but.....John Yaglenski

Thank you John. I had a feeling that would be the case. The machine is only 4 years old and I'm just a hobby embroiderer....just doing things for family and friends. I just finished up my first box of bobbins...so it doesn't have a lot of stitches on it. I'm also in an area with no melco techs. UGH! Thank you for your help! I'll just plug along until it goes out and hopefully get all my Christmas gifts done! Thank you again, John, for your advice.
