satin baseball jacket

I need to embroider on the back of a nylon baseball jacket, it's an Auburn Sport jacket, the shell is 100% nylon and the lining is 100% polyester (it's the thin lining that feels like a lightweight flannel).

For anyone that has done these before, I would appreciate advise on what needles and backing to use. Also what speed to sew at.

I have used 75/11 BP needles and used autofeed on satin nylon jackets. I have used a tear away backing and have great results.
