Cap sides

I have always used the 4.68" tubular hoops for stitching the side of caps. I could never get the sweat band to open and lay flat. Most customers want the stitching lower on the side so I would just give up and stitch through the band. It always seems a little too far back from the bill because the hoops won't allow me to get really close. It has always bothered me that other caps I've seen seem to look so much better and not stitched through. In my over 11 years I've always had other things to spend money on so I haven't invested in fast frames or clamping system. I would like to know what y'all use for side of caps. I'm considering purchasing one of those.
